First off the Kumuya Nutri-Serum Concentrate of the bat smells like lavender when you open the bottle but after a couple of seconds on the skin, it started to smelled like other herbs. The ones who created Kumuya has a back ground in superfoods so they set out to create nutritious skincare. They are rooted in the state of mind of purity of nature, nutrition driven beauty and the transience of imperfection. Kumuya is EWG Clean Certified which is basically full transparency of toxicity if ingredients. This serum concentrate skin concerns aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and lost if fitness. And this serum stimulates and repair skin structure also helps to restore suppleness. Proven to reduce cell aging by 69.5% but I’m not sure if I have noticed. Science proven plant derived brand. Magnesium - helps with body process of regulating skin cell regeneration and repairs. Increases recovery of strength of your skin when it’s under stress or being attacked. Blue green algae extract which strengthens, prevents aging, and helps inflammation. The packaging is simple. The scent is like I said earlier lavender and then herbs. Now I would love to say I loved this but I didn’t really see a difference with my skin. This is an aging fighting serum but I didn’t see that in my skin. The nourishing part could be true but again I didn’t see a different. Also I’m not sure if the moisturizer that I was using it with, that my foundation started peeling/bubbling up. And as a make up artist that’s a big no-no. This is a vegan skin care serum that leaves your skin feeling slightly tight. Many serums I have used give me a bit of an oily finish and better to be used at tonight but this is great for first thing in the morning. At fist the earthy  scent threw me off a bit bit once I realized the benefit of all the ingredients I quickly got on board! First of all Bakuchiol for wrinkle reduction explains the actual tight feeling that will have you rubbing it all across your chest and neck!  Hyaluronic Acid for dry skin specifically but locks in moisture and lastly not often found Magnesium which probably explains the higher price point. These ingredients are amazing for improving acne and promoting cellular turnover.  Only a few uses and the benefit will be seen and felt  on your face in a beautiful way. The Rejuvenate serum has an earthy plant like smell and silky to the touch texture. I added a tiny drop of skin oil to reduce the tightness and it was like a touch or gold. Could not stop touching my own face! It’s not every day we get to say that! A feeling many times reserved for a high cost skin peel or a session with an esthetician. I recommend this gem to go under makeup and put onto your daily to do list if you enjoy feeling like royalty!

So I would consider myself a serum junkie. I love serums. I’ll use a serum over a primer any day of the week. This serum did smell kind of planty but don’t let that bother you because the functionality outweighs the scent. I love how it shrank/tightened my pores before finishing my skin care routine. I wore it by itself and paired it with one of my moisturizers at home. Made my skin feel very supple and hydrated. Highly recommended for those into natural ingredient skin care. Super vegan. Love that. The texture of the serum is like most, a kind of milky/creamy consistency that absorbs at a decent rate. I definitely think this is a product all skin types can benefit from. If you’re more on the dry side, I definitely recommend still pairing the serum with a moisturizer or face oil for added hydration throughout the day.
