I normally stick with what I know when it comes to mascara, but I’m so happy to have found this one. If I had a list of characteristics for the perfect mascara, then this one pretty much checks all the boxes. The wand is a slightly hourglass shape and is the ideal size in my opinion—not too small and not too thick. The formula itself is creamy and partners well with the wand as I never have an overwhelming amount of product on my brush. Perhaps my favorite aspect is that it’s buildable. I’m a “layers” kind of gal, so it doesn’t matter if it looks great the first go round, I have to apply at least two more layers. I’m super impressed at how well the product remains flexible to allow for a buildable look without getting dry and clumpy. However, when it does dry, it’s a beautiful waterproof&nbsp; finish…and no flakes! After spending a decade in the field as a professional makeup artist, I can confidently declare that this will be going into my kit as well as on my vanity.

Mascara is probably the one makeup product that is in everyone's makeup bag from beginners to professional makeup artists. As a beauty professional, I have tried many mascaras in many categories and the Laura Geller Always There Waterproof Mascara is definitely ranked among the best. The mascara is super dark but does not flake. It does lengthen the lashes very well, but only gives light volume so if you are looking for length this is the one for you. It is also waterproof and lasts ALL DAY even in the heat (i.e. sweating) but comes off very easily. No need to rub hard or cleanse multiple times to remove! Using a makeup removing balm is the best product to use to remove this mascara. In my opinion, micellar waters don't work as well with this mascara.

The Laura Geller always there lengthening waterproof mascara is a go-to mascara for long wear. It comes in beautiful gold and blue packaging with an amazing brush head that allows for quick and even application that can be layered to achieve the desired look. I can't handle clumpy mascaras and this does not happen with this product at all. Since I commonly go for a light natural makeup look this product allows me to achieve a beautiful length in my lashes while still appearing natural. The formula is also gentle on the lashes in my experience. I did not experience any discomfort or irritation which happens to me with most mascaras. I also never use waterproof mascara because of the hassle to remove it and my eye sensitivity. I have to say I was able to remove this product easily with my oil-based cleanser which isn't marketed as a makeup remover, and it came right off when I wanted it to. Super happy with this product!
