I received this product from the brand + beautytap in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts are my own.Mascaras are a dime a dozen. The market is incredibly over-saturated and truthfully most of them are pretty mediocre. Unfortunately, that was my experience with this one. I don't typically use non-waterproof mascaras on their own and usually layer a waterproof on over top. However, I check how my lashes look before I do a waterproof coat so I can see if I like the way the lashes look standing alone. When I test, I also skip the mascara primer. The first thing I wasn't impressed with was the brush. For a lengthening mascara, it was just too big. It made the product clumpy and not smooth. It made the application difficult and pretty messy. Other than the brush, the product was pretty mediocre and for that reason, I can't justify the price point.

I love a blacker than black, lengthening and volumizing mascara that gives me VOLUME and lasts all day, I must say, I was very impressed with this mascara. It is everything I look for in mascara with the exception that it is not waterproof. I personally prefer a waterproof formula and, for that reason only, I give this a four-star rating. However, the formula is absolutely amazing! Since it is not waterproof, I use a primer on my lashes before applying this mascara, which helps it last all day without smudging or flaking. The applicator grabs every single last and coats them evenly without leaving your lashes looking clumpy. I highly recommend this mascara.

Mature beauty blogger here &amp; been testing out products for a few years. This mascara is very nice esp since my lashes are getting sparser every year. I really the formula. It doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. The first time I used I fell in love my lashes looked so long! I didn’t see any clumps and it was so easy to apply. I also started at the root to give them an extra boost. I also like that the formula is lightweight. I didn’t see my lashes look much thicker but I really liked how it opened my eyes more n gave them a girly look. I did have to apply a few times to get that length I was looking for. It has been extremely hot and humid here and I did notice that the mascara does smudge as the day goes along. I think this is a great every day mascara n would recommend if you want a more natural look.
