As a makeup consumer I have always enjoyed baked products as they glide into the skin very naturally, are quite buildable and have the ability to add moisture to change their consistency and pigment in a moment. As a makeup artist I tend to use these on body as they catch the Light beautifully and when used on a lightly tacky or damp skin they melt right into the face. I tend to not to use baked products right onto the skin without a little bit of moisture as they can catch the Light very easy on a photoshoot. This... Read more

I enjoyed trying out this baked blush and brighten duo. I’ve always loved Laura‘s baked products. I love Laura’s story and what she stands for, she is a single mother and likes to make products for women in a realistic way. Her primer called “spackle” was the first product I ever purchased, Because who doesn’t want to take spackle to their face most days? Her baked formulas are very buttery and smooth and pleasant to use and this was no different. But for me personally this was not my color story, I am fair with yellow undertones and this for... Laura Geller is someone that created a line for older women and I’m glad of it. Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten Multipurpose Blush Duo - I haven’t had baked blusher in quite I bit but this one knocks some other brands out of the park. This blush is baked and because of this is so smooth and light weight, for me this didn’t go into the textured my clients face. Also long wearing. This formula includes white tea extract- which protects your skin from outside damage, jojoba oil - moisturizes and vitamin E - can reduce inflammation. As an makeup artist... Read more

To know me, is to know that I love blush and highlighter. Like, a lot! As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years, "skin" tends to be my focus on my clients. Most of my work is focused around "red carpet" or personal appearances, and a "glowy" cheek is typically a signature of mine.
Enter the Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten Multipurpose Blush Duo. For my professional kit, this is a no brainer. It delivers a shade that is more universal that I originally expected. A rosier tone for fair skin, and more of a warm... Read more

I am a licensed esthetician for over 18 years, and one of the fundamental things I remember learning is color theory. When touching upon makeup application, color theory becomes an exciting science experiment. Finding just the right shade can be a challenge because there are many different skin tones, textures, and undertones. The best thing about Laura Geller’s Baked Blush-n-Brighten is that this duo is flattering on all skin tones and shades. This blush has color-correcting liquid pigment swirls that bake on terracotta in Italy, making no two color palettes alike. The process allows for the blush to adjust to... Read more

From the moment I saw the rosy pink and sateen berry colors in this compact blush I was in love. The pigments are rich and lustrous but still easy to blend because of the powder formulation. Powders are a great choice for easy blending and baked powders take this effect further while also having much richer concentrations of pigments. Baking also allows this blush-n-brighten duo to have its gorgeous dimensionality, marbling and gives this duo an incredibly velvety texture.
The colors are a soft pink and lavender with a natural finish and a gorgeous marbled dusty mauve, cream, and bronze.... Read more

Laura Geller’s Baked Blush & Brighten MultiPurpose Blush Duo in the shades Ethereal Rose and Sateen Subtle Berry are beautiful to look at. The dome shaped blush comes in a round compact packaging with an attached mirror. The blush is hard and silky smooth, rather than soft/dusty like a pressed powder. This cool-toned duo has a plummy rose side and mauve with silvery-pink sheen side. Laura Geller blush is super saturated and gives full color payoff with finger tips as well.

This blush looks so smooth and pretty on my face as it’s a bit shimmery too. I love that... Read more

I had forgotten how good these Laura Geller Baked Blush -N- Brighten are. This one comes in a multipurpose duo Ethereal Rose on the left and Subtle Sateen Berry on the right. They go on beautifully as soon as you apply them. If you want a glow apply Ethereal Rose all over or as a highlighter. And, follow with the Subtle Sateen Berry blush over cheeks. There is no fallout and both sides melt right into the skin for a gorgeous glow. This blush duo is baked in Italy on terracotta tiles for 24 hours & that’s why they go... Read more

If I am being honest I doubted this product as in the past my experience with blush duos just haven't worked for me or for my mother at that.

I love that this brands focuses to all women and more so to women over 40. As a makeup artist I have had clients with mature skin who can't just wear ANY cosmetic product as makeup sits different on their skin. Keeping in my mind fine lines, creases or makeup looking as we call it "cakey" or "broken."

Now, Laura Geller's genius self did her thing with this... Read more

One of my all time favorite highlights is from the Laura Gellar brand so upon trying their Baked Blush-N-Brighten Duo powder, I knew I was not going to be disappointed. The formula is just this amazing soft and buttery powder that applies so smooth to the skin. The shades really compliment each other and look beautiful on the skin. I love how easy I can blend them to create a subtle glow to something more glamorous. I have even used them as eyeshadow, to give my look an extra pop. The lighter shade, Ehtereal Rose, also looks beautiful as a... Read more
