As a makeup artist for more than seven years, I have tried my fair share of lipsticks on the market. I also deal with chapped lips, so it can be hard finding a matte formula that doesn’t make my dry skin on my lips more noticeable. This formula managed to do that! I’m amazed by how incredibly smooth this formula was. Considering it is a creamier matte formula, transfer was minimal. And this did last through me eating and drinking well enough that I didn’t need to apply a touch up. I’ve found most matte formulas that come in a tube don’t last as well through eating and drinking, so this impressed me. It was incredibly lightweight and felt like I wasn’t wearing any lipstick at all. So if the texture of lip colors can be a turn off, I highly recommend this one. You’ll forget that you’re wearing it, it is that comfortable! I got so many compliments when I used Radiant Red in a makeup look because it truly is a classic red lipstick shade that will compliment many different skin tones. I was lucky enough to try three shades, the other two being Pink Passion and Novel Neutral which are both classic nude shades that a lot of people will also enjoy. Those who want something to enhance their natural lip color without it being super in your face will really enjoy those two color options.

As someone who has been trained in makeup artistry and has a passion for beauty, I am completely enamored with the Laura Geller Modern Classic Cream Lipsticks. The pigment of these lipsticks are beautiful and vibrant. True to the product name, these lipsticks have an ultra-creamy consistency that feels incredibly luxurious and moisturizing. The product doesn't feather or settle into fine lines, which is always a plus. Another benefit of this lipstick is its staying power, I find that they wear really well throughout the day and leave a tint of color on the lips. They also manage to hold up well through drinking, eating, and talking. These have become my go-to lipsticks since I received them! My favorite colors are Mauve Majesty, Novel Neutral, and Real Rosy.

You know those lipsticks that dont feel like lipsticks? The Laura Gellar Modern Classic Lipsticks performs like some of my luxury lipsticks. The formula is hydrating, smooth, and the colors are gorgeous. It's crazy to say that I've been a makeup artist for 22 years. In that time, I have tested hundreds of lipsticks. I like this formula, and I have already used Pink Passion on one of my clients. The formula feels more like a light balm than a lipstick. I have super dry lips, and high-pigmented lipsticks tend to dry my lips. Not this queen. She's serving high pigment, high moisture realness, and I'm so here for it. I especially like how the formula looks like it floats over the fine lines around the lips. What stands out for me are the tones of the colors. The red is flattering on so many skin tones. Real Rosy is my favorite out of the six, but I would wear them all.
