Prepping your skin for any makeup routine is crucial especially for under the eyes. I really don't have any under-eye issues that are drastic but it feels hydrating and like a shield of protection for the under-eye area. Applying it was very simple with the plastic tip but I would not recommend any swiping/back and forth motions, only because the under-eye area is delicate. So, applying the product with your finger and doing patting motions would be just fine, in my opinion. I would recommend this product for those who wear matte concealers just because you have some hydration and comfort underneath any additional product. You can wear this solo and add your favorite eye cream to give your under-eye area some extra attention. This product also does not smudge or crease the under-eye area once concealer is added on top. It also does not feel heavy so that's an additional plus.
