I have been using the Solawave Lightboost Eye Cream for a while and have been using it without the wand. This eye cream is cool and creamy and it feels nice on your skin. It is hydrating without feeling like it is super heavy. I have noticed that my eye area looks more hydrated and a bit more plump whenever I use this eye cream. However, I have not noticed any brightening effects in my eye area from using this eye cream. I am not sure if using it with the wand (which I know is what is recommended) makes a big difference when it comes to the brightening effect the product talks about but that is not something I have noticed while using the product without the solar wand. It is a nice eye cream and I do notice a difference in hydration when using it but if you are looking for the brightening effect, you most likely are going to have to have the wand in order for that to happen.
