I used to wash my hair every other day and was noticing that my scalp and hair were getting dry. So over the past 6+ months, I have trained my hair to be washed only once or twice a week. I have medium hair density that are naturally wavy. After every wash, I blow dry my hair and use a dry shampoo in between to keep my style fresh. I have found this dry shampoo from Living proof to be way more hydrating and softening in comparison to the dry shampoos I have used in the past. This is what makes the product so unique and unlike any other on the market.I found this to be gentle for hair and scalp without overly drying my hair. Hair instantly feel clean and bouncy. You can see in the before and after photos that it also adds a good amount of volume. I would recommend to use this dry shampoo the night before and use a silk bonnet. Wake up to clean residue free hair!

It took a lot of convincing and a long time, but for the past 10 or so years, I've embraced only washing my hair every 5-7 days depending on the season and what life dishes at me. I'm also a very active woman who practices yoga throughout the week and hits up a handful of other workouts - which adds up to lots of perspiration. This means that I've become a dry shampoo guru who has admittedly test-driven countless formulations. Always in search of the holy grail product that can outperform that last winner. I had high hopes for this option, and I'm mostly pleased with my experience, but allow me to share how I think it missed the mark. The spray definitely didn't leave a white cast behind, it didn't coat my hair or weigh it down, if anything it just felt like it refreshed my style. But when it comes to embracing a dry shampoo, I want to count on it to truly extend the life of my style and not just zhuzh it. Along those lines, I want it to add back some texture while also soaking up any oil and sweat build-up on my scalp. That was not the payoff I experienced, if anything my hair appeared shinier and smoother after applying it.

Living proof Perfect hair Day Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo. I want to start off by saying I have a love and hate relationship with dry shampoo. Because I have color treated hair I try not to wash my hair too often (every 3-4 days) with that being said I’ve tried so many dry shampoos and unfortunately for me I also have a very sensitive scalp so most dry shampoos end up irritating my scalp, causing me to have to wash sooner than i wanted. Because this product is a clean beauty product, and also talc free and silicone free I was very excited to try a new dry shampoo and I am happy to say that so far this product has not caused any irritation, and it works amazing to keep my hair looking and smelling fresh and clean to extend my weekly blowouts!
