If you are looking for the perfect start to your makeup routine, Mally’s Perfect Prep Neutralizing Powder is one to try. It’s impressive formulation including color-correcting hues, work to neutralize redness and veins while minimizing the look of wrinkles and fine lines. You will also find some skin brightening and anti-aging ingredients such as Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (a water-soluble form of Vitamin C) and dryness combating Sodium Hyaluronte. It feels natural and the creamy texture is lightweight and comfortable. The addition of glycerin helps to smooth and create a nice dewy look to my skin. I loved the light coverage and preferred to wear it by itself on very warm days but still find it to be a preferred pick when preparing my base for foundation wear. Either way I choose to wear it, my makeup looks great all day and it looks fresh all day long. I really enjoyed the opportunity to try out the Perfect Prep neutralizing primer in shade light from Mally Beauty. As a makeup artist, I am very particular about what kind of primer I use. Primers are a must have for makeup looks that sit perfectly on the skin and stays in place. As an esthetician I love that this primer has hyaluronic acid and glycerin for extra “smoothing” and hydrating benefits. This primer is very lightweight and soft on the skin, it spreads and applies easily. I like that this can be used on its own or with varying degrees of makeup (it can work for barely there to full face makeup). I have fair skin and I struggle with redness in certain areas if I have any inflammation so I love a good neutralizing primer like this one to brighten and even out my skin tone.

A great alterative to my usual CC Cream, or tinted moisturizer/sunscreen application. The sheer pigments evened out my skin tone and the primer didn't settle into my skin grooves resulting in a heavy feel. Often all I need after applying this primer is a dab or two of concealer to key areas, perfecting my facial canvas before applying pops of cheek color and highlighting.
