Literally I am not the biggest fan of powder foundations because they usually drying my skin out or crease no matter what prep I do. As a professional makeup artist, I need great powders for makeup on the commercials and weddings I work on. I really like this powder foundation for added coverage and setting makeup once it’s complete. After completing the makeup, this is a great powder to add more coverage for touch ups to maintain the look. I find myself reaching for this powder over some of the others I have in my kit. The shade I received is light although it would not be light enough for anyone with fair skin. I would say this powder is almost medium. For light skin I would need a far lighter shade. That being said, I think it’s great to use on the under eye for setting. It doesn’t seem heavy. I would not use this alone, foundation is definitely needed. I have used it for men’s grooming powder as well on ladies. I love it! Thank you!

As a makeup artist and a makeup lover in general, you know powder foundations are starting to see their way back into the public eyes. That being said, I was excited to try the Mally Soft as Silk Powder Foundation. This powder foundation is literally as the name states, soft as silk. No really…..my face felt so silky while using this product. It provides a decent amount of coverage but the way that I actually prefer it is to set my makeup. My face literally looks so blurred and airbrushed. This powder is so lightweight that I didn’t even detect the heavy powder feeling which I love!!!! This product can be used alone after skincare, or along side makeup. As mentioned, both are nice but my preference with this product is to set my foundation down with it. Even with foundation under, this did not make my face cakey and did not disrupt the rest of my makeup. This product contains longwear Polymers, Niacinamide, and Tamanu Butter. Even in this crazy heat, this product felt so lightweight and kept my oils controlled. I really like this product and would recommend to use to set your makeup for a flawless airbrushed look. Great product!
