Although I haven't tried tons of products from Orpheus, I can still honestly say they are such a fantastic brand. After trying their toner, I was excited to get the chance to try their Resurrection Bio-Sheild Cream which will last me way longer than the toner did. I love that they use sustainable practices for their mystic and magical ingredient - the Orpheus flower which can survive the harshest environments in the cold and driest of all, yet still, be able to regenerate with just a single drop of water! Not only do we have this amazing ingredient, but there are also tons of other beneficial ingredients to really penetrate to fight off signs of aging, repair the skin, and hydrate like Bio Ceramides, Organic Chia Oil, Organic Saffron Oil, Niacinamide, Vitamin E, Cocoa Extract, &amp; an Anti-Complex. It has a rich and creamy feel when applied but absorbs easily and leaves a beautiful dewy glow. As someone who is blemish-prone and oiler towards the summer, I like this product more for the winter months when my skin turns back to a combination. I do, however, like to use it when my skin needs a pick-me-up during the spring and summer months during my night routine. The packaging is beautiful and there is barely any scent (you can smell a tiny bit of the flower/floral-ness but not strong at all) which is something that is not a must in my skincare. My skin feels super hydrated and what's best is you can even use it as a mask for those well-needed nights or for very dry skin types. I wish it wasn't summer, just so I can use it every day! I have used other Orpheus products and know it's a great line for skin care. The texture of this product was very smooth and lightweight which I love as most. A lot of hydrating product can feel pretty thick and heavy and feels a little oily. Bio shield is effective for days after you use it which is great. The claims on this product is unbelievable, it gives a 40 percent boost in long term hydration! The only thing that I would have to say I hate was the smell. It didn't smell great at all and it was one reason why I refrained from using it daily. I loved the packaging of the whole Orpheus line as it gives such a prestige feel. If they can reformulate the product to be either fragrance free, then I would give this product a five star.

As a professional makeup artist in the entertainment industry, I love testing out new products that I can use myself as well as use in my kit on set and recommend to my clients.The first things I always notice with skin care products are the texture and the smell. The Orpheus Resurrection Bio-Shield Cream has a wonderful creamy but light weight texture and a light pleasant scent, slightly fruity and floral, but not overpowering. The application was smooth and my skin absorbed the cream immediately. It left no sticky residue or too much shine or oil, but a nice hydrated feeling and soft glow. It calmed red spots quickly and the vitamin C made my skin look radiant while the peptides that stimulate collagen production gave my skin a firmer appearance without a tightening feeling. I like the packaging and the bottle. It is a nice sold bottle (maybe not the most travel friendly) and I like the pump dispenser which looks like I will be able to get all the product out of the bottle and use it up fully. Orpheus is cruelty free as well as gluten free and vegan.
