I’m erika, I’ve been with Beautytap for a little over a year now. I have been a cosmetologist for 10+ years now, and I’ve been afforded the opportunity to try out a lot of products. One of my favorite parts about being an expert with beautytap is getting to try products I wouldn’t have otherwise had the chance to! This brand pharmagel is totally new to me, and I tried this product a few times on my face, and more on my body. It felt a bit too rough for my face, as I’m more used to more gently exfoliation. I did enjoy it on my arms and legs for my KP. The roughness was perfect for my body, and I will use it up in that way! It may be suitable for someone with less sensitive skin and someone who enjoys a more rough exfoliation. I did enjoy the smell!

I don't use a Scrub daily, but when I do I want it to be gentle but effective at removing dead skin cells, Smoothing my skin without irritating, enhancing my natural glow and softening/retexurizing my skin. This Scrub does just that. Many people actually Scrub their skin with a facial Scrub and that is a sure way to irritate your skin and cause micro tears in the skin. This Scrub is gentle, but the best way to use it is to gentle buff a dime size amount in circular motions into your skin. No need to rub really hard as the papaya plant extracts and walnut polishing grains do all the buffing for you. I like to use this Scrub 2-3 times a week and in the evening after using a gentle cleanser. Another tip is to.not use a harsh cleanser before exfoliating. I enjoy the aroma, the fine granuals and the suppleness of my skin after using this. It is a very generous size for the price, especially considering the fact that you don't need to use it daily. Enzyme Ex -Cell Gentle Exfoliating Papaya Facial Scrub by Pharmagel is ok . I have delicate skin and when I tried the scrub it was really sort of rough on my skin. Did it polish my skin yes but it was just too strong and the grains were too sharp and strong for my skin . I also had a hard time finding them off my skin I had to rinse with a face cloth a few times to get the grains off . I guess it would be ok for someone that had really thick oily skin but I still think the grains are harmful . I don’t really like the fragrance either in any of their products . I really would not recommend it ! Like I said if your in a bind and you need a scrub at the last minute fir your salon you can choose this ! I would suggest this if you are trying to really scrub some dry skin spots or trying to get a spray tan off you could use it on your body to remove it .
