Starting with the facial essence, it sets the tone for the entire skincare experience. The refreshing formula, infused with brightening agents, leaves my skin feeling clean and prepped for the subsequent steps. The star of the trio is undoubtedly the Serum. This powerhouse of a serum is packed with potent brightening ingredients that work harmoniously to diminish dark spots and uneven skin tone. The Phyto Hydrating and Brightening Trio is an amazing combo set and makes it super simple for anyone to start a luxurious skin care routine. As someone who works in the beauty industry, and always looking for the best way to care for my skin, I was very pleased to come across this line. Especially as someone of Asian descent, I really struggle with pigmentation on my skin sometimes, especially acne scars.This product has the perfect vitamin C serum that helps clear and lighten and brighten my dark spots. The face lotion is full of amazing ingredients that really replenished my skin. My skin feels plump and hydrated, and my favorite part is that it never left a sticky film on my skin. The essence is one of the easiest products to use but I think intimidates a lot of people - not necessarily just this brand, but when it comes to skincare people, kind of hesitate to add things and new steps to their routine. This essence is so easy because all you have to do is spray it on your face, it really completes the skin care routine and makes you feel like you’re at a spa. I can’t wait to see what else this trio does for my skin.

I loved the Plantkos Trio Kit. I was SO excited about the Facial Essence Spray, which is used directly after cleansing and drying your face to put all those nutrients and hydrating ingredients right back into your skin after you just stripped it of them from soap and water. It is so hydrating, sprays so light and just 3-5 sprays all over will leave you feeling hydrated and ready to get on with the next step. The cool thing about the Essence spray is you don't have to wait for it to dry before moving on and applying step 2, the Serum. You can actually apply it while your skin is still damp and that actually helps with the product absorption into your skin! The first time I used the Serum, I did feel a slight tingle, but nothing too serious to cause alarm and there were no reactions on my skin so I felt safe to continue. After continued use, the tingle began to stop and I noticed the dark spots on my chin starting to diminish and my skin just felt overall brighter and more hydrated. And then to top it off, my oh my, do I LOVE the Face Lotion. 2-3 small pumps all over your face and neck leaves you feeling hydrated, but not sticky or greasy at all! It absorbs so quickly and stays feeling hydrated all day long! I absolutely loved the feeling and consistency of the face lotion. I used it both night and day. I would recommend it for any skin types. I don't feel it was too oily or overly hydrating and I feel it did enough to really hydrate my skin for the entire day and night, waking up feeling fresh and clean.My final note, I absolutely LOVE that you can use the Essence Spray any time of day. If I felt my makeup needed a little resetting or hydration boost mid-day, SPRAY. I needed to wake up and feel a little hydration in my skin to wake me up in the evening, SPRAY! Felt a little dry but not enough to put lotion on or was wearing makeup, SPRITZ! I loved it. I even would use it as a primer for skincare and a setting spray for makeup. It is such a versatile and useful product! Highly recommend adding it to your skin care collection/routine.
