As someone who has struggled with acne on and off for years it is always exciting to try a new product that will lighten the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation left behind. (Not even counting the scars that are indented such as rolling or boxcar scars.) I was very hopeful about this product from Senté with HSA and Cysteamine, as I am an esthetician and I've tried just about everything on the market from enzymes to laser treatments. This really impressed me! The smell is something I easily got over. I tried a different cysteamine product from another brand and it was MUCH harsher smelling; so no complaints here. My scarring improved significantly and I would recommend to anyone with PIH marks, sun damage, or melasma. I don't think it's a miracle product so that's why I'm not giving 5 stars but with consistent use I did notice an improvement. My skin has a long way to go but I'm pleased!!
