Out of all the Nimbi products I tried, this one was actually a win!

The Shave Foam Puck really surprised me — it’s easy to use, lathers up quickly with just a little water, and feels super gentle on the skin. I used it on both legs and more sensitive areas, and it gave me a smooth, cushioned shave without irritation or razor burn (which I can’t say about their razor, unfortunately). The formula feels nourishing thanks to the shea butter, and I love that it’s fragrance-free and vegan.

I also appreciate how travel-friendly the solid format is — no mess, no leaks, and it lasts a long time. Definitely a cool, eco-conscious alternative to aerosol creams.

Overall, it works and I liked it. While it didn’t magically fix a bad razor, paired with a good one, it does what it promises and leaves your skin feeling soft and calm.

I was genuinely excited to try the Nimbi Shea Butter Shave Foam Puck. I love supporting eco-conscious brands, and Nimbi’s plastic free, vegan approach seemed like a great match. Unfortunately, the product was a major letdown. The puck barely lathered, even when I followed the instructions exactly and used a proper brush. The foam that did form was thin and disappeared almost immediately, which made shaving frustrating and uncomfortable. Worse, it left my skin feeling dry and slightly irritated (could be from the combo of the razor as well), something I rarely experience with other natural shave products. I was also not impressed with the "waxy" consistency of the product and lastly the smell of the Shea Butter Puck, was nothing more then a wax like smell which I was hoping for a more natural scent to the puck verse wax.
