Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate as well as T-Butyl Alcohol are considered on a cancer causing risk scale as moderate, which is why I typically prefer using only mineral sunscreens. I can appreciate that it is reef safe and that it is formulated vegan and cruelty free. The texture is nice and it feels nice on the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. If you like chemical sunscreens and want one with a high SPF that is also good for the environment, this is a good choice over many many other chemical sunscreens I have seen on the market!Skin 1004 is truly cruelty-free. They don't test finished products or ingredients on animals, and neither do their suppliers or any third-parties. They also don't sell their products where animal testing is required by law. This is the best sunscreen I have used in my life! As a licensed cosmetologist and someone with acne prone, sensitive skin, I have had such a struggle with finding a sunscreen compatible with both my skin tone and type. Chemical sunscreens tend to break me out, and this is the only one I have found to not do so. This sunscreen blends beautifully into all skin tones and melts in the skin like a moisturizer, as if it is not even there. It will leave you with a dewy, but not greasy glow and does a good job of keeping your skin moisturized and hydrated without breaking you out. This has helped me fade my hyperpigmentation since it doesnt break me out and offers sun protecting benefits. It is fragrance free which is even better for my sensitive skin type. I am so grateful I came across this sunscreen and will never switch up on Skin1004 as long as they do not change the formula.
