When this product was first described to me as a “Light Weight Gel Oil”, I knew I couldn’t resist testing it out. My combination skin always keeps me on the lookout for a nourishing oil that absorbs quickly into skin without leaving behind a nasty, greasy mess. I’m here to report that the Plant Elixir (replenishing botanical face oil) by Well People is just that, a nourishing blend of ingredients that leaves skin supple without a slimy film. With the likes of Chia Seed Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil and Vitamin E, this seemingly simple product really soothes, fortifies and protects skin. I not only used this in my face, I found my neck, décolletage and even legs soaked up this magic elixir and left behind radiant skin. P. S. This was my first time trying a WELL PEOPLE product and I was surprised to feel how it’s texture was, how it performed, how it travels and hope that I won’t break out from it! I’m in my mid 30’s with historically oily skin that’s mellowed out in recent years. 10 years as a licensed Esthetician and working 7+ years in luxury cosmetics, I definitely have a lot of experience with a variety of facial oils. This texture was very oily for me at 3 drops so I reduced to 2 and did a tapotement fingertip massage to apply then smooth all over. Like playing the piano! This was the best application for me as I felt the product was evenly distributed and absorbed much better than just smoothing all over. 
The packaging came in bottle and dropper and I took this on my flight and it did just fine in my luggage. I did use a few times in the week in a tropical climate, and I tolerated it well. It felt glowy during the tropical climate, but when I was using a drop on top of my moisturizer, that produced more of a healthy glow rather than shiny skin. I enjoyed using this mostly at night.
About a month of use and it still feels very full. Id guess this bottle would last someone like me around a year or more. I am always on the lookout for a great facial oil, the reason? I LOVE IT! When the Plant Elixir Replenishing Botanical Oil came to me to try and review I was sooo excited. Not only because the company is Super Clean, Super Natural, Cruelty Free and Derm-Developed, but also because of it’s plant based ingredients. Chia Seed Oil: Nourishes with fatty acids, Broccoli Seed Oil: Brightens &amp; Smoothes - a staple for the company, Meadow Foam Seed Oil: Deeply Hydrates (what I need) and much more… This is how I used this versatile face oil: *Before my foundation for a smooth application, with the foundation for a glow *On may hands and cuticles *As a base for my Gua Sha, Jade Roller and Manual Lymphatic Massage *Added a couple drops on my elbows *Regrettably, as a standalone oil it isn’t hydrating enough for my mature normal-dry skin but it’s lightweight, fast absorbing, won’t leave oily residue, hydrates and helps you glow. What more you need? Wait! Is only $24. Would I recommend for the right skin type?
