I wanted to love this so bad because the shimmers, especially, are gorgeous in the packaging. they go on somewhat smoothly, but I found using a separate brush helps with control of the product, and it doesn't get too messy. It dries down super fast, which I can appreciate since I have hooded eyes however, there isn't much time to blend. I also love the shade variety of mattes and shimmers. most of those issues are small and I can work with them, however, the real issue for me is that when you go to blend or smooth it onto the lid, the beautiful glittery shimmery color becomes more flat and loses what makes it stand out. however, it does have good staying power, and I may try it again as a base and add a shimmer or glitter on top to enhance the glitter effect.

Trial the Violette Yeux paint you immmediately see the stunning pigment. They are creaseless and long lasting. The paint shades come with hints and flecks of gold which are so stunning. The texture is so easy to blend out. The yeux paints are so easy to use. I tried the matte as well and thought this is very soft and no transfer. They are perfect for oily eyelids. You are blend but they still stick on to your skin. I love to just use the shimmer shades alone. You can even use your fingers or brushes. You can use these so have a more dramatic or simple look. I think the matte neutrals would be great for beginners to see how easy they are to use and then use the shimmer shades for expression of creativity. I love the idea to use the applicator as a liner to add in shimmer smokey looks! What a simple to use product with tons of pay off.

The second I received this package I was extremely excited to swatch these liquid eyeshadows. Even within the bottles they were absolutely stunning and I could not wait to get them on my eyes and/ or hands. Once I swatched them, I was immediately obsessed with the color and the consistency. The shimmer was vibrant and exactly what I was looking for, and the matte was bright and beautiful. I have not yet had the chance to try these liquid eyeshadows on my eyes in a makeup look, but I am excited to. My only fear is that they may be slightly patchy, but with the small swatched I created on my hand, patchiness had not been an issue. I am extremely excited to be able to actually use these products as intended. I know they will be beautiful and I will be able to make some beautiful makeup looks with them.
