CLE does it again with the innovative formulas! Now, I’ve tried cushion formulas before, but they just didn’t work. This one seems to have it right. The compact dispenses the perfect amount of product whether using the sponge or brush. It applies so beautifully! I love how lightweight it is and the skin-like finish it has rather than sitting atop the skin like highlighting powder tends to do. It didn’t accentuate the texture on my skin, so the glow looks healthy and natural. Although this product can be used on eyes as well, it doesn’t seem to have the same pigment payoff or longevity. Instead, it’s a really soft sheen…think of that effortless summertime glow. I’m okay with that, though. I also love that this is travel-friendly. I don’t have to worry about this shattering in my bag and leaving a mess behind. As a professional makeup artist and makeup enthusiast for years, I’d recommend this product to the expert as well as the novice. It’s easy to use and can accommodate any look from natural to full glam. A bonus is that this shade will complement a wide range of skin tones. As a professionally licensed MUA and skin care consultant, I love coming across new and exciting new products. 
I haven’t yet fallen in love with a highlighter, but I believe this Cle Cosmetics Moonlighter Cushion is the closest I’ve come. 
The color copper rose threw me a bit, especially when taking a first look when I open the compact. 
After using a few times and playing with it, I find it to be absolutely stunning when applied just above blush. I have very light, and neutral skin, so the color is a little too intense to use as an all-over highlighter. But just above some pink, natural blush, this product is BEAUTIFUL. I love the cushion applicator. It distributes an even and controlled amount of the product. 
Easy to apply and this highlighter is even moisturizing 😳

Copper rose is a really beautiful deep Muavy pink with orange copper flecks. It's really pretty and see this complimenting many tones of skin. This is a formulation that dries down really fast so for that reason I didn't love the sponge applicator. I found it best when using a fan brush and working quickly and with a soft touch to give a pretty glow. It is buildable so two applications really make this pop on the cheekbones. 

The pricepoint might be a bit high especially since it's hard to tell how much product is really in this kind of sponge cushion. However the formulation is nice and packaging has a high end feel that would warrant the price point. I do love CLEs aesthetic of white. It feels luxury. 

As a five year veteran in the high end skincare retail space, this type of product would be for real Client who def has a bit extra to spend. It's good but $30 good? I'm on the fence about it. For me since I don't reach for the sponge, I just feel it doesn't necessarily need to be in this format
