Gorgeous finish for the skin types who love an easy breezy look. I loved how natural this pressed powder settles without looking like I have makeup on. I also preferred to use it alone than with the other covergirl products from this round. I find that it stands well on it’s own and only when coupled up will get a little “ heavy”. This powder is oil free and has a nice smooth finish but when worn with foundation my eye catches how it slightly shifts the true color of the pressed powder. As far as the 16 hours I can see that it is long lasting although I haven’t worn it for more than 8 hours. It absorbs oils as the day goes along and like the 3 in 1 foundation appears to be smudge proof. As a Beauty Expert for two years for Beautytap, I was super in love with the whole Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear line before I even got to try it out! I have tried many different powders and this one is my favorite. I could not find my Ivory shade available in the pressed powder, so I decided to use this Toasted Almond pressed powder as a bronzer since it is a much darker color than my skin tone. First I used my Outlast Concealer, next I used my Outlast foundation and then I just swiped my brush on the powder and used a small amount on my cheeks, forehead and nose to add a sun-kissed look. Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear Pressed Powder does have buildable coverage so you can choose how much powder your skin needs. With this being a darker tone than my skin, I used a small amount to give a bronzed look. This pressed powder is unscented. It has a nice lightweight, creamy powder texture and brushes on so smoothly. Finding the right shade for you is easy with the wide variety of shades available to choose from. I am a combination oily – dry skin and with this powder I felt like this blended right in with my skin, with no shine, after a few hours, I didn’t see any lines or freckles. I was able to get 6 hours of wear out of this powder before I was home and washing it off my face. I was looking as good as I did when I got home, as I did when I left my house. My experience with the application was easy, a very soft, smooth texture and Surprise! A mirror and a sponge under the powder, it is a nice compact round powder and so nice that it had a mirror because then it helps cut down the necessities in the purse.
