As an experienced cosmetologist with over two decades in the industry, I've had the opportunity to try a wide range of skincare products, including Kat Burki's KB5 Gel Cleanser. While I was initially not a fan of this particular cleanser, I found that my skin started to adapt to it after a few days of use.One of the key factors I consider when evaluating cleansers is how my skin feels after use. With my dry skin type, I prefer a gentler approach that doesn't leave my complexion feeling overly stripped or tight. Unfortunately, the KB5 Gel Cleanser didn't quite hit the mark for me in this regard, as I didn't feel my skin was as clean as I would have liked.However, I appreciate that everyone's skin is different, and what may not work for me could be a perfect fit for someone else. It's worth noting that after a few days of consistent use, my skin did start to adjust and respond better to the cleanser.Interestingly, I found Kat Burki's Vitamin C Cleansing Balm to be a better match for my skin's needs. The balm-to-oil formula gently yet effectively removed impurities, while the inclusion of vitamin C helped to brighten and even out my complexion.Overall, while the KB5 Gel Cleanser wasn't my personal favorite, I can appreciate the brand's commitment to using high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients. As an expert in the field, I always encourage my clients to experiment with different products and find what works best for their individual skin type and concerns.
