A unique, lightweight, styling product for wavy, curly, and coily hair. Pro Curl is a combination of a curl cream + a gel, giving you the benefit of several products:

3b - Bouncy ringlets

2c - Distinct S-waves with some spiral curls

3a - Big, loose spiral curls

2b - Shorter, more distinct S-waves

3c - Tight corkscrew curls

4a - Tightly coiled S-curls

4b - Tightly coiled, Z pattern curls

In my experience to truly understand how products work for wavy to curly hair types it’s a good idea to do a deeper dive into the ingredients and their functions to see which truly work for curly hair. Cyclopentasiloxane coats the hair shaft to lock in moisture while remaining lightweight due to its quick evaporation and thin texture. This can mean less build-up overtime. Dimethicone is known for forming a barrier that smooths the cuticle making the hair appear shinier and frizz-free. It also works to prevent damage from heat styling however, long-term usage may not be suitable for all curly hair types, and it may dry out the cuticle. VP/ VA copolymer and PVP work to hold the curl in place by blocking the absorption of excess moisture. This can help increase overall volume. Guar Hydroxypropltrimonium Chloride reduces frizz, flyaways and helps to condition between strands. Polycrylamide also helps to hold style by blocking the ability to absorb moisture and Argan kernel oil deeply moisturizes. This cream is a great applied on damp hair and immediately scrunched. This cream is very concentrated, so about a quarter size of product is usually a great dosage to start with. I apply it to my wet hair and distribute it evenly with my fingers or a comb and then let my hair air dry or use a diffuser. I also love to use it in my damp hair to tame my frizzy, wavy hair.
