Skincare is a key part of my daily routine in maintaining clear skin. I have my favorite products but still love to try new treatments on the market that have amazing ingredients in them. As a Sales & Training Manager in NYC with 10+years’ experience I make it my mission to be proactive about my skincare. I normally do a facial treatment once a week. When I worked for a KP beauty brand as a Sales & Training Executive I would create skincare regimens for my clients inside Ulta Beauty. Many clients wanted to know how to create a routine and when they should use a serum, facial oil, or the benefits of certain ingredients. The Swiss Line Cell Shock Age Intelligence Recovery Serum is an everyday serum. This serum is marketed to “Improve the skin’s self-renewal to boost its recovery, maximizes suppleness while minimizing appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; can be used to prolong the effect of aesthetic treatments, such as Botox™, gives skin a unified look and reduces signs of fatigue and stress. Paraben-free - Allergen-Free - Color-free - Worry-free”. The serum is very lightweight and that is infused with cellactel 2 complex, ectoin, madecassoside, ronacare and repairing amino acids. These ingredients collectively minimize your lines and pores while also helping to aid in boosting your skins self-recovery and recover from damage. I used this product for both my daytime and nighttime skincare routine. This serum has a very light milky consistency and a light floral scent that I like. The formula is very lightweight and dried down extremely quickly. This serum was non-greasy, and the drip applicator made it very helpful not to overuse the product. The serum left my skin very hydrated and smooth. I did try the serum with my other skincare products, and they did work well together. I would suggest this product for all skin types and if you’re looking to easily layer your products if you’re dealing with dry skin this would be a great option. It dries quickly and has no lingering scent which is a definite plus.

As a Medical Esthetician and Medspa owner I love trying new products. I was given this Cell Shock Recovery Serum to try,  It contains some great ingredients. I can be prone to breakouts but this did not give me any issues. The Cica ingredient is actually great because it is anti inflammatory and anti microbial. I found it moisturizing but not heavy. I did need to use an additional serum or cream over it for some added hydration especially on my neck area. There was no real smell to the serum. I actually used it after doing a medium peel on myself and found the serum healing and calming. It would be a great product to have on hand for times when your skin needs a little extra pampering from environmental stressors or treatments. I would definitely repurchase this product.
